Shorter John McCain: "I agree with Obama"

So, in this clip, John McCain goes from denying that Maliki would ever propose a timetable for withdrawal, to basically agreeing with the timetable Maliki already endorsed.  And since the timetable Maliki supports is the same one proposed by Barack Obama, then it’s not a stretch to say that John McCain basically agrees with Barack Obama’s plan for withdrawing from Iraq.  Indeed, this isn’t the first time McCain has signed on to Obama’s foreign policy proposals.  Last week, McCain gave a speech in New Mexico where he seconded Obama’s call for a “surge” of troops in Afghanistan.

Of course, the media will probably fail to report the fact that John McCain has adopted Obama’s positions on Iraq and Afghanistan, and will continue to portray him as “strong” on foreign policy, while continuing to depict Obama as “inexperienced” and lacking “credibility.”
