Sensible procurements (warning: extremely nerdy)

I don’t know why I didn’t know about this earlier, since I’m a big fan of the series, but the Japanese government commissioned a scale model of the famous RX-78 Gundam from the famous “mecha” series Mobile Suit Gundam:

Although I am on record as being against further expansions in the defense budget, I don’t think I would be too opposed if the Pentagon decided to research and build giant, nearly-indestructible space-faring robots.
